Ilevro Eye Drops to treat eye pain and swelling following cataract surgery. This medicine is a topical nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID) available only with your doctor's prescription.

Ilevro Eye Drops come as a suspension (liquid) to instill in the eyes. Follow the directions on your prescription label carefully, and ask your doctor or pharmacist to explain any part you do not understand.

To use the Ilevro Eye Drops, follow these steps:

• Wash your hands thoroughly with soap and water.
• Tilting your head back, pull down the lower lid of your eye with your index finger to form a pocket.
• Hold the dropper with the other hand as close to the eye as possible without touching it. Looking up, gently squeeze the dropper so that a single drop falls into the pocket made by the lower eyelid.
• Close your eye for 2 to 3 minutes and tip your head down as though looking at the floor. Place a finger on the tear duct and apply gentle pressure.
• Wipe any excess liquid from your face with a tissue.
• Replace and tighten the cap on the dropper bottle. Do not wipe or rinse the dropper tip.

Allergies
Tell your doctor if you have ever had any unusual or allergic reaction to Ilevro Eye Drops or other medicines.

Geriatric
Appropriate studies performed to date have not demonstrated geriatric-specific problems that would limit the usefulness of nepafenac eye drops in the elderly.

Drug Interactions
Although certain medicines should not be used together, in other cases, two different medicines may be used together even if an interaction occurs.

Ilevro Eye Drops may have common side effects, including temporarily stinging or burning your eyes for 1-2 minutes. Eye redness and headache may also occur. 

Tell your doctor immediately if you have any serious side effects, including eye swelling/pain, eye discharge/excessive watering, or vision changes.

What should you do if you forget to take your Ilevro Eye Drops dose?

Use Ilevro Eye Drops dose as soon as you can, but skip the missed dose if it is almost time for your next dose. Use only one dose at a time.

When using contacts, can you use Ilevro Eye Drops?

If you are wearing soft contact lenses, please refrain from using Ilevro Eye Drops. Use the preservative in Ilevro Eye Drops for at least 15 minutes after using the eye drops to prevent permanent staining of the lenses.

What side effects can Ilevro Eye Drops cause?

Common side effects of Ilevro Eye Drops include cloudiness in the eye, feeling like something in your eye, and eyes feeling sticky.
